Reps for a Reason Competition
Get ready to sweat, challenge yourself and come together for a cause that matters. Reps for a Reason is an all-women fitness competition created in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Whether you’re stepping onto the competition floor for the first time or you’re a seasoned athlete, this is your chance to push your limits, have fun and make every rep count. The competition features 3 high-energy AMRAP zones, designed to test your strength, endurance and determination. Choose to take on the challenge solo or team up with a partner in the Doubles category. Show up, give it everything you’ve got and earn your chance to take the podium, with a prize pool to compete for.
The Challenge

Row
Singles 300m · Doubles 500m
standards- Athletes can only grab the handle once the start has been called.
- Athletes must let go immediately once 300m (singles) or 500m (doubles) is completed.
Athletes must release the handle before their partner begins.

Box jumps
Singles 10 · Doubles 20 reps
standards- Both feet must land on top of the box.
- Athletes must reach full extension at the top of each rep.
- Athletes may jump or step down.
- Only full reps will count.
Partner 2 cannot start until partner 1 has completed their last full rep.

Sandbag Lunges
Singles 10 · Doubles 20 lunges, 10 kgs
standards- The sandbag must be held across both shoulders.
- The back knee must touch the floor to be counted.
- Athletes must return to full extension before the next rep.
- Only full reps will count.
The sandbag cannot be passed between partners. It must be placed down before the next athlete begins.

Assault bike
Singles 15 cals · Doubles 20 cals
standards- Athletes can only begin once the start has been called.
- Athletes must stop once 15 calories (singles) or 20 calories (doubles) are completed.
Partner 2 can begin once partner 1 has fully dismounted.

Plates Ground to Overhead
Singles 10 · Doubles 20 reps, 10 kgs
standards- The plate must start on the floor.
- Athletes must finish with the plate fully locked out overhead.
- Only full reps will count.
The plate must be placed on the floor before partner 2 begins.

Burpee Plate
Singles 10 · Doubles 20 reps
standards- The athlete's chest must touch the floor at the bottom of each rep.
- Athletes may jump or step the feet in.
- Both feet must land on the plate simultaneously.
- Only full reps will count.
Partner 2 cannot start until partner 1 has completed their last full rep.

Singles 300m · Doubles 500m

- Athletes must release the handles once 300m (singles) or 500m (doubles) is completed.
Athletes must release the handles before their partner begins.

Singles 10 · Doubles 20 reps, 5 kgs
standards- Both dumbbells must start on the floor.
- The athlete's chest must reach the floor at the bottom of each rep.
- Both dumbbells must finish fully locked out overhead.
- Only full reps will count.
Both dumbbells must be placed on the floor before partner 2 begins.

Ball Over Shoulder
Singles 10 · Doubles 20 reps
standards- The ball must be lifted from the floor and thrown over the shoulder.
- The ball must clearly pass over the athlete's shoulder and land behind them.
- Only full reps will count.
The ball must come to a complete stop before partner 2 begins.
